My Story

Climate action. Sustainability. It's more than just jargon for me; it's my life's work. I'm Jessamie Yule, a Sustainability & Regenerative Design Consultant.

My curiosity started young, with the question, ‘why build something without understanding its impact?’ Engineering offered a way to solve social problems on a large scale. But while I loved its potential to shape communities, I discovered the best solutions come from local voices. Work, for me, had to be purposeful, collaborative and local. So, I have moved through dozens of industries to find out where good design & decision-making starts.

It’s the reason my consulting is a tapestry woven from old wisdom, indigenous knowledge, and contemporary science.

Beyond "Do Less Harm": Cultivating Regenerative Change

Over 10 years, I've guided diverse projects – from residential developments to political campaigns and landscape design. My workshops empower organisations and people, fostering care and commitment, to sustain the changes needed to do business differently.

As a sustainability consultant, I'm not here to simply minimise harm. My mission is to ignite a cultural shift, where communities co-evolve and regenerate alongside their environment. This means going beyond checklists and jargon, and instead, cultivating caring and commitment.

I draw on my diverse background to facilitate workshops and discussions, fostering a sense of shared responsibility. Together, we explore unconventional solutions, challenging contemporary values and finding creative ways to connect with the places we inhabit. Born and raised on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people in Naarm/Melbourne, my connection to the land is an ongoing practice. It's a constant reminder that the health of nature and humanity are intertwined, and that both have the power to heal and thrive together.

Transforming Through Experience: The Power of "Why"

Through experience comes inspiration. I believe in the power of stories and shared experiences to spark change. As a facilitator, I create a space where people can reimagine their projects and roles, unlocking their potential to create holistic outcomes. My strength lies in bridging the gap between technical knowledge and the heart of ecological systems. I translate complex concepts with warmth and candour, igniting a deep curiosity within participants about human behaviour and the natural world.

I'm an activist at heart, a pragmatist with a touch of artistry. Whether you're a business, a project team, or an event organiser, I can help you cultivate a regenerative future, one that benefits the planet, the community, and your bottom line.
